Additive-Free Rice Flour Chiffon Cake (Half Whole: Plain Flavor)
Completely additive-free. Made simply from ultra-fine rice flour and unrefined cane sugar. Unusually for cake, it is oil-free. Cane sugar is kept light for lower sugar content. Because the cake showcases the quality of the ingredients, please try the plain flavor first. (A tiny dash of vinegar and soy milk is added to keep it moist and fluffy.) We currently offer over 20 flavors, but we only accept orders from repeat customers or subscribers. Shipped chilled, exclusively for customers who can guarantee receipt on the delivery date. Shipping on cooler days is also available (500 yen discount), subject to the following precautions: 1. Repeat customers only. 2. Must be able to receive the package the following morning. Ships from Tokyo. 3. Consume on the delivery date; freeze anything that cannot be eaten immediately. 4. Do not leave in a delivery box or similar locker for 20 minutes or more. Do not leave at room temperature after that. Exposure to sunlight will spoil it very quickly. Without additives, mold grows rapidly under poor storage conditions. In the past, among orders that took 2 days in transit, depending on post-delivery conditions, 1 out of 18 experienced mold on peak shipping days in 4. If mold forms, we cannot assist once an evaluation has already been submitted. If anything happens, please contact us before rating. We will gladly help trusted customers as many times as needed. In the past, 1 people left reviews without consulting us about the condition. That was shocking, so please refrain from doing so. We aim for long-term relationships with our customers. There are many rules, but that is the reality of additive-free food. If you leave conventional sausage out for a long time, it never molds. Please consider how many additives you consume each day. Additives are carcinogens. A representative from a major food corporation once told me that shipping additive-free food is absurd and insisted I add additives right away. I felt Japan was a terrifying country. My concept is health. I will never add additives going forward. However, if commercially available flavorings contain additives, I have no choice but to use them; those are simply hard to source otherwise. For instance, I am meticulous about chocolate, but it is difficult to find additive-free versions. They exist overseas. For that reason, I make cocoa using only cacao beans. I have written quite a bit, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
